About these terms

Reuno is run by Arthur Both, trading as Reuno, 36 Lancaster Mews, London, W2 3QF, United Kingdom (“Reuno”, “we”, “us”). By buying a tag, claiming a tag or using reuno.co you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

If you buy as a consumer, you also have legal rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

The service

Reuno is made of three parts:

• Tags. Tough PLA tags, 3D-printed in the UK, with a QR code, and an NFC chip sealed inside when you choose NFC at checkout. Each is linked to a unique 6-character code.
• The finder page. When someone scans a tag they see the page for that tag at reuno.co and can message the owner without an app or an account.
• Your dashboard. Where you name your items, write a note for finders, turn on lost mode and reply to messages.

The price of a tag covers the service for the life of the tag. There is no subscription for chat, location sharing, lost mode, email alerts or scans. If we add optional paid extras, such as SMS alerts, they will be clearly marked, and tags will keep working without them.

Your account

• You sign in with a one-time code or link sent to your email. Keep access to that email account secure.
• You must be 18 or over to buy tags or open an account, or have a parent or guardian do it for you.
• Give accurate details and keep your email address up to date so alerts reach you.
• You are responsible for what is sent from your account.

Buying tags

• Prices are in pounds sterling and are shown at checkout before you pay. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
• Payment is taken by Stripe when you place your order.
• A contract is formed when we email you to confirm your order. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will tell you and refund you in full.
• Delivery is free in the UK and costs £2 per order to the EU. See refunds and delivery for times, import charges and your right to cancel.

Your tags

• New tags arrive unclaimed. The first person to claim a tag, by scanning it or typing its code while signed in, becomes its owner. Keep new tags safe until you have claimed them.
• You can rename a tag, move it to another item, turn lost mode on or off, or remove it from your account.
• If you give a tag away, remove it from your account first so the new owner can claim it.
• We may disable a tag that is being misused, or one reported as stolen, and will tell the owner when we can.

Finders

Finders can use the finder page for free, without an account. By sending a message a finder agrees to use the relay only to help return the item, and to the acceptable use rules below.

Acceptable use

Owners and finders must not use Reuno to:

• harass, threaten, deceive or abuse anyone
• send spam, advertising or chain messages
• demand payment for returning an item, or make threats about it
• track, follow or locate a person without their knowledge
• break the law, or share content that is illegal, hateful or sexually explicit
• pretend to be someone else, including Reuno staff
• probe, scrape, overload or get around the security of the service, or guess tag codes in bulk

We may remove messages, block a finder, disable a tag or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Report misuse to hello@reuno.co.

Your content

You own what you write: item names, notes and messages. You give us permission to store it, show it to the other person in the conversation and send it by email, only so we can run the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

What we can and cannot promise

• We will pass messages between finders and owners as quickly as we can and keep contact details private.
• We cannot promise that a lost item will be found, reported or returned, or that finders will be honest. A tag helps honest people reach you. It is not insurance or a tracking device.
• We aim to keep reuno.co running at all times, but there may be short breaks for maintenance or problems outside our control.
• We will never charge you to keep a tag you have bought working. If we ever had to close the service, we would give account holders as much notice as we can and a way to download their data.

Liability

• Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
• If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
• We are not responsible for the loss of, or damage to, the item a tag is attached to or anything inside it, unless it was caused by our negligence.
• If you buy for a business, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity.

Business orders

Business orders of 100 tags or more are quoted separately. The quote sets out the price, payment terms and timings. We send a digital proof, and production starts only after you approve it. Tags printed in your brand colour or with your company name are made to your specification, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty tags are always replaced.

Ending and changes

• You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard.
• We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
• We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, email account holders before they apply.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
